March 10 - 11, 2018 Sault Ste Marie, ON

Event Date: The 2018 Winter Provincial Qualifying Tournament for Curling will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018 and Snowshoeing will be held on Sunday March 11, 2018.

Entry Fee: The cost per athlete will be $35.00. The cost for each coach, parent and other caregivers/supporters wanting to have lunch and dinner will be $25.00 each. For athletes or parents/caregivers/supporters that will be attending the banquet and both days of tournaments, the total weekend fee will be reduced by $20!

Registrations: Registration deadline is February 16, 2018. All teams must adhere to entry deadline. No late entries will be accepted.

Curling: Competition and lunch will take place Saturday at Community First Curling Club, 124 Anita Blvd., P6B 4P9

Snowshoeing: Competition and lunch will take place Sunday at John Rhodes Community Centre, 260 Elizabeth Street, P6A 3J3 (Snowshoe oval is to the left of the building)

Dinner and Dance: Dinner and Dance will take place Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion, 96 Great Northern Rd., P6B 4Y5. Dinner scheduled to be served at 5:00 pm, followed by a dance.

Accommodations: Both Comfort Inn (333 Great Northern Rd 705-759-8000 or toll free 1-866-529-1019) and Super 8 (184 Great Northern Rd 705.254-6441 or toll free 1-866-551-5904) are centrally located and close to the Dinner and Dance location.

Protests must be received within 30 minutes of infraction; loss of protest in a $50.00 cash fee.

A medical is not required for this competition, however clubs should have in their possession a copy of each athletes’ local medical form.
