Fundraising
Did you know that our local volunteer Special Olympics Community Council is responsible for providing the facilities and equipment for our athletes’ sports activities. The Council also provides transportation, uniforms, equipment, overnight trip accommodation, and hosts an Annual Awards Banquet. We do our best to try to keep costs affordable for our athletes by hosting several fundraisers throughout the year.
Plans are underway for a number of fundraisers this Spring.
Spring Raffle - Our Spring raffle included a 1st prize of the Victorian Dollhouse and a 2nd prize of $500. Christina Primeau (106) was the winner of the dollhouse and Lisa Ouellette was the 2nd prize winner of $500.
Bowling Fun Night - March 27th @ Northcrest Lanes. It was a great success raising over $1,800. A silent action at this fundraiser raised $1,200. We thank all of the donors that contributed prizes for this silent auction.
Due to the number of recent fundraisers, we won't be proceeding with the Pasta Dinner fundraiser and silent auction at the end of May.

Our Weekly Winners!
Winners will be contacted at the Contact Information provided on the winning ticket stub. Winners shall claim their prize within 72 hours after being contacted. Winners must show identification to claim the prize. All prize money will be paid by cheque in Canadian Funds.
Prizes not claimed within 6 months shall be donated to another charity at the discretion/approval of our municipal licencing office.
Holiday Gift Card/CertificaTe Raffle
Leslie Fierro was the lucky winner of the Holiday Gift Card raffle. Thank you Leslie and to everyone else for supporting our fundraisers to raise funds to support our local activities.
